How country-based fees work

AIESEP’s published policy uses country income bands to make membership more accessible. Your membership rights stay the same. This checkout uses your billing country to show the fee. If your institution is in a different country, contact membership support before paying.

Fixed calendar access. Your membership ends on 31 December of the year shown, regardless of the day you join.

Choose from 7 free Special Interest Groups. These interests add no fee and do not change your main membership. Institutional representatives choose interests in their own accounts.

Contact sharing for free SIG joining

Saved private interests do not join a chair-contact roster.

Joining a new free SIG requires this separate acknowledgement. You can remove optional SIG choices and complete main membership without sharing. This is separate from newsletter consent.

Withdrawal stops future sharing and removes you from current chair rosters. It cannot retract details already delivered. Existing selections may remain saved as private interests. Chairs use My AIESEP → My SIG rosters; unconfirmed chair mappings hold notifications.

Membership questions

Who is eligible for Student membership?

Currently enrolled full- or part-time undergraduate, Master’s and doctoral students may join. You confirm your eligibility at every Student checkout. Postdoctoral researchers should choose Individual membership. If you graduate, your paid Student access remains valid through the displayed expiry; choose Individual when you next renew.

When does membership access end?

Access ends on the exact 31 December date shown before payment. A three-year Individual or Institutional membership ends on 31 December of its third access year. Membership does not renew automatically.

How do country-based fees work?

Student fees vary by country. Select your billing country to see the exact EUR total and any paid TGfU add-on. Checkout verifies the same price. If your institution is in a different country, contact membership support before paying.

What is included with Institutional membership?

Institutional membership includes three named member accounts: the purchaser acts as coordinator and can invite two representatives. These are ordinary member accounts and never website administrator accounts.

Can an institution change a representative?

Yes. The coordinator can revoke an invitation or remove and replace a representative from the secure member account while the institutional membership is active.

What happens after payment?

Your account and access are created or renewed, and you receive your receipt and access details by email. New members also receive a secure password-setup email.

Can I get an invoice or receipt?

Yes. Membership payment records remain available from your secure member account, where they can be searched and opened.
