It is designed as a living document, continuously updated to reflect ongoing learning and best practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This policy prioritises:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Restorative and educational approaches: mentorship, vulnerability, and growth over punitive measures.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Clear organisational commitments: from the AIESEP Board, conference organisers, and members.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Inclusive engagement: fostering participation across diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<\/section><section class=\"association-section association-section--policy-design-process\" aria-labelledby=\"association-policy-design-process\"><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"association-policy-design-process\">Policy Design Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The EDI Policy was developed through a co-design approach grounded in Participatory Action Research (PAR). This methodology acknowledges power dynamics, values lived experiences, and positions participants as co-researchers in creating the policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key aspects of the design process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>Engagement of co-designers: 9 co-designers from 7 countries participated, recruited via the SJ-SIG network.
