AIESE<\/strong>P is an associated partner on the Phys-Ed Academy: Collaborative redesign of physical education and physica<\/strong>l education teacher education. This project is organized by Norwegian School of Sport Sciences<\/strong><\/p>\n PhysEd-Academy<\/a> is an international research collaboration between physical education (PE) teacher educators and teachers from Norway, Spain, Slovenia, Turkey, Ireland, Luxemburg and Sweden, in partnership with both the European Physical Education Association (EUPEA, full partner) and the International Association for Physical Education in Higher Education (AIESEP, associate partner). The purpose of the project is to improve the educational quality in PE and PE teacher education through an innovative conceptualization of the processes of teaching and teacher education that challenges the idea of teachers and teacher educators working in different fields and instead identifies new ways of thinking about how teachers and teacher educators can occupy the same space. From this conceptualization, we will develop and test innovative strategies and programs for PE initial teacher education (PE-ITE)<\/p>\n and teachers\u2019 continuous professional development (CPD). To do so, we will develop a set of signature pedagogies for learning across different PE-ITE and PE-CPD programs internationally that will ensure a shared language and practice. These processes will lead to improved, equitable outcomes for teacher educators (TEs), pre-service teachers (PSTs), in-service teachers (ISTs), and school students.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

<\/p>\nAIESEP is an Institutional partner<\/u> with the WORLD TEACHER GAMES.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\nThe World Teacher Games is the largest event for teachers promoting physical education<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\nThe first edition of the World Teacher Games<\/a><\/u><\/i><\/b> (<\/i><\/b>www.worldteachergames.com<\/a><\/u><\/i><\/b>) <\/i><\/b>will take place <\/i><\/b>in R\u00e9gion Sud, in the metropolis Toulon Provence M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, France<\/b>, from May 5th to 10th, 2025<\/b>. Endorsed by the Erasmus+ Sport program of the European Commission and the European Parliament, this international event aims to enhance the role of physical education (PE) teachers <\/b>and the broader field of physical education and sport <\/b>as key drivers of youth empowerment<\/b>, health, and well-being.<\/div>\n<\/div>\nThis professional, educational, and sporting initiative will comprise workshops<\/b> on innovative pedagogical approaches in PE, team-based sporting activities <\/b>designed to foster collaboration among teachers, qualified personnels and school representatives from across the globe, intercultural exchanges<\/b>, and an international conference<\/b> addressing the themes of engagement in PE and health promotion through sport.<\/div>\n<\/div>\nThe schedule of activities is as follows:<\/div>\n\n
