The 14th International Congress on Physical Education and Sports Teaching: A Platform for Multidisciplinary Dialogue and Digital Transformation

The field of physical education and sports science is undergoing a paradigm shift, driven by the imperatives of digitalization, evolving pedagogical frameworks, and the need to cultivate holistic competencies in learners. In recognition of these transformative dynamics, the Turkish Association of Physical Education Teachers (TÜBED), in collaboration with the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ), is organizing the 14th International Congress on Physical Education and Sports Teaching. This distinguished scientific event is scheduled to take place from November 4-7, 2026, at the ÇOMÜ Dardanos Campus. It represents a significant confluence of academic inquiry and professional practice, aiming to foster interdisciplinary synergy and advance the frontiers of knowledge within the discipline.

The Congress is strategically designed to serve as a dynamic platform for stakeholders from diverse sub-disciplines of physical education and sports sciences. Its primary objective is to facilitate robust scientific interaction and the exchange of innovative ideas. The central theme of the conference is predicated on the integration of multidisciplinary knowledge to address contemporary educational challenges, with a concentrated focus on 21st-century competencies and digital pedagogical approaches. By anchoring its discourse on modern educational processes such as technology integration in physical education, model-based teaching practices, and the development of physical literacy, the Congress directly engages with the exigent needs of the current educational landscape. This thematic orientation underscores a commitment to equipping educators with the requisite tools and strategies to effectively engage the new generation of learners, who are increasingly immersed in a technologically mediated environment.
